Hey mate , Im in the same position.

I will be buying a Xforce turbo back system however not sure if im going Mild or Stainless steel...

Im also opting for a Varex cannon , Look into it personally i love the sound Xforce produces...

depends on a bajillion factors matey. How much power you will make as to how big the exhaust needs to be, if you want it legal or not, how many bends you want, what kind of sound etc etc.....

Best bet for someone in your position, just look for your everyday run of the mill catback 3 inch with cannon that bolts straight up. Not much need for a whole lot else unless you know where you're heading with the car.

Theres plenty of topics on here mate about what exhausts, use youtube to hear some common brands like trust etc. I personally love my kakimoto regu, lightweight, top quality, not to loud but has a nice growl when your into it etc. I used a justjap.com dump/front pipe and a catco highflow cat. dude you can spend from $500 up to a gajillion.
I have a GKtech turbo back system. Had it for 18months, no problems. Looks good is stainless steel, bolted straight up. Sounds good. I am just about to weld on a new rear Magnaflow trin tip muffler. Due to too much cop attention. But i have found the system great. Cant get better value for money imo.

I bought my car with a custom 3 inch system already on it, but I wouldn't advise anyone going that way as the system wasn't built very well, all the conections weren't welded well and I've had to fix it 3 or 4 times since.

so you are 'advising' that custom exhausts are not as good as off the shelf mass produced ehausts? i dont agree in the slightest. just because yours is shit doesnt mean its a bad idea to go custom... in most cases custom is cheaper and fitment is perfect, aka none of this "my hangers dont line up'' or "..hangs too low" shit, and after all, its just a pipe to vent gas it doesnt have to be anything special.

depends on what noise level you want. I went cheap and got a 2nd hand fujitsubo catback with new gktech front pipe n dump. Never had a hassle with that setup good flow too.

CES dump pipe and front pipe the best money can buy, gut the cat and pretty much any legal volume cat back will do.

a straight pipe with some thirdhand hangers would be cheaper, sound better and flow better, but gktech is good for the money.

Go custom and ask them to keep it as close to the body as possible. Any other path and you will probably end up regretting it.

I have an xforce 3" cat back with tomei dump and blitz front pipe.. the combo is extremely loud - I will prob go a Kakimoto in the coming months.. it has a better note, and not as loud.. depends on what you want dude, how much you want to spend - there is plenty of systems out there - perhaps go second hand and pickup a good brand stainless from one of the sponsers?
